Your partner
in bioprocesses

At Cultiply, we have a highly qualified and experienced team in the development of bioprocesses, which allows us to offer a wide range of services in this field. From the design and optimization of fermentation processes to the production and industrial scaling of biological products.

Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology in instrumentation, control, and monitoring, which allows us to guarantee quality and consistency in all our processes. In addition, our human team has extensive experience in the characterization and quality control of biological products, which allows us to offer personalized solutions to meet the specific needs of each of our clients.

Recombinant proteins

At Cultiply, we specialize in the production of recombinant proteins, using a wide variety of expression platforms, including prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems.

In particular, we are experts in the production of recombinant proteins using prokaryotic expression platforms such as Escherichia coli or Bacillus subtilis. These bacteria are widely used in the production of recombinant proteins due to their ability to grow rapidly and produce large amounts of protein in a short period. Furthermore, these systems are relatively simple to use and offer a high rate of protein expression.

Our team of biotechnology experts works closely with our clients to develop customized recombinant protein production strategies, tailored to the specific needs of each project. We use advanced genetic engineering techniques and optimized production processes to obtain high-quality and pure proteins.

Biofertilizers

At Cultiply, we specialize in the production of microorganisms with biofertilizing, biostimulant, or biopesticide activities that are applied in agriculture.

Our biofertilizer production processes are designed to optimize production in bioreactors, allowing production in large quantities and with high quality. Among the genera we use are Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Azotobacter, Azospirillum, Rhizobium, Glomus, or Trichoderma.

The microorganisms we produce are beneficial for plants as they promote their growth and health, improve nutrient uptake and increase resistance to diseases and pests. In addition, our biofertilizers are a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative, reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers and reducing soil and water pollution.

Probiotics

At Cultiply we are experts in the development of probiotics, which are live microorganisms that are beneficial for intestinal health. We also develop postbiotic products, which are metabolites or cell products produced by probiotics, as well as bacteriocins, which are antimicrobial proteins produced by beneficial bacteria that can be used as natural preservatives in the food industry.

For the production of these organisms, we have the necessary facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, our human team is highly trained to work with anaerobic microorganisms, which grow in the absence of oxygen; microaerophiles, which require a reduced concentration of oxygen; and capnophiles, which grow best in a carbon dioxide environment. Among the genera we work with are Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Streptococcus, Limosilactobacillus, and Campylobacter.

Our probiotic and postbiotic products have applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries and can help improve digestion, strengthen the immune system, and prevent disease. We also work on products for animals, to improve their health and well-being. At Cultiply we are committed to the research and development of innovative solutions in the field of biotechnology and industrial microbiology.

Ingredients

In our company, we are dedicated to the development of High Cell Density Cultures (CADC) for the production of ingredients of biological origin and microbial biomass. We carry out this process through the use of cost-effective raw materials, which allows us to offer products at affordable prices.

Currently, one of our main projects focuses on the production of proteins of microbial origin. This type of protein has been poised as a more sustainable alternative to the protein of animal origin since its production does not imply the emission of greenhouse gases and requires less land and water.

In addition, we also develop microbial starter cultures, which are used in the production of fermented foods, such as yogurt or cheese. These cultures allow us to control the fermentation process and obtain products with the desired characteristics.

Revalorisation of by-products

In our company, we use fermentation as a tool to revalue by-products from various industries, such as agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology. This technique allows us to use these by-products as sources of carbon or nitrogen, which translates into cost reduction in the production of bioproducts.

Instead of discarding these by-products, we transform them into value-added materials through fermentation. In this way, we obtain high-quality bioproducts from economical and sustainable raw materials.

Fermentation is a natural process used to transform substrates into final products. In our case, the by-products are used as substrates and through the action of specific microorganisms, a transformation into a desired final product occurs. This allows us to obtain value-added products, such as organic acids, enzymes, vitamins, and probiotics, among others.

The use of by-products in the production of bioproducts also has a positive impact on the environment, since it reduces the amount of waste generated by these industries.
