Cultiply becomes part of the PLAnd COVID-19

The ‘Junta de Andalucía’, through the Andalusian Knowledge Agency, launched the PLAnd COVID-19 at the beginning of April, a platform that brings together different Andalusian entities that provide solutions against the spread of the known SARS-CoV-2 virus, due to the disease it produces, COVID-19.

Among the solutions that this platform brings together are those intended for the manufacture of protective equipment such as gowns, gloves or masks, alcohol as a disinfectant, PCR or imaging diagnostic systems or palliative measures such as respirators. Likewise, it incorporates different information management platforms for the treatment of data from the health crisis.

Cultiply has been incorporated into this portfolio of products and services as a provider of solutions for obtaining large amounts of yeast, responsible for the production of alcohol, through the use of its yeast multiplication systems.

In this way, Cultiply makes itself available to those entities that may require its products or services to contribute to the fight against this pandemic.

Cultiply is a biotechnology-based company based in La Rinconada, Seville that offers solutions for the agricultural, food and pharmaceutical sectors. These solutions are based on the use of automated multiplication systems for microorganisms involved in fermentative processes.
